Monterey Park Market Place, Monterey Park, CA - It is difficult to come across a project in a lifetime that re-defines a region, but with ten years in the making, Market Place at Monterey Park does just that. At almost 500,000 square feet in total mass, the initial retail phase will feature approximately 350,000 square feet with a “wish list” lineup of best-in-class retailers fully committed. This first phase will highlight Costco and Home Depot with a supporting cast of national restaurant and retail uses including In N Out Burger and Chick Fil-A. The uniqueness of this project is its vast drawing power and lack of significant competition, coupled with over 2,000 feet of frontage on the 60 Freeway featuring almost 350,000 cars per day. Marketplace is scheduled to open in 2018.
Garden State Park, Cherry Hill, NJ - Where routes 70, 38 and 295 converge into Philadelphia sits one of the most affluent regions in southern New Jersey. It is here where you will find one of the most talked about redevelopments in the nation. The town is Cherry Hill and the project is the 230 acre Garden State Park located at Route 70 and Haddonfield Road, the “bulls eye” of southern New Jersey/Philadelphia retail and residential. Garden State Park consist of: Market Place at Garden State Park, a 530,000 sq ft "power center"; Towne Place at Garden State Park, a 285,000 sq ft "lifestyle center"; Park Place at Garden State Park, a 360 unit for sale residential community; Park Lane at Garden State Park, a 691 unit luxury apartment community.
Cherry Hill Commerce Center, Cherry Hill, NJ - Located just 20 minutes from Center-City Philadelphia and in immediate proximity to several major highways, the nationally acclaimed Garden State Park development has it all. When finished, this open-air retail destination will surpass 1 million square feet with over 975 luxury residential units strategically positioned throughout the property. Commerce Center will be the fourth retail phase of this flagship property. What is already home to a “who’s who” lineup of elite national retailers, Cherry Hill Commerce Center will be home to Costco, one of the Nation’s most sough-after anchor tenant and will feature a supporting cast of apparel and restaurant uses. The partners will also be perfecting major traffic arteries within the project to better connect the retail and residential experience. One such move is the proposed extension of Town Center Drive, which will extend the grand boulevard of the “Towne Place” lifestyle center through Park Lane and directly to Costco’s front door; allowing Costco direct access from both Route 70 as well as Haddonfield Road.
Cherry Hill - Park Place, Cherry Hill, NJ - In addition to Cherry Hill Commerce Center, M&M will be expanding the Park Place retail phase to include up to an additional 75,000 square feet of retail and restaurant uses. Unlike Costco in Commerce center, which will serve a regional draw, this expansion will be aimed more toward the upscale convenience-oriented needs of the residents within the development. While M&M is currently holding back the identity of the tenants that will be featured in this phase, it is promised to be epic and commensurate with the existing all-star lineup.
Cherry Hill Park Lane Apartments, Cherry Hill, NJ - Park Lane at Garden State Park offers Southern New Jersey’s finest luxury apartment living. This project is on track for a late 2018/early 2019 opening. There are a few remaining leasing opportunities still available as the initial leasing for this project draws to a close.
Market Place at Citrus Park, Tampa, FL - Not unlike the Monterey Park, California development, Market Place at Citrus Park is a shopping center that defines the spirit and tenacity of the M&M partnership. A project vastly considered unbuildable, it took the wisdom, foresight and the direct involvement of the owners to pull of this trophy development. Consisting of over 19 separate assemblages and the acquisition of over 60 acres of land for off-site wetland mitigation, this approximately 200,000 square foot project is home to Costco, Aldi, Ford’s Garage Restaurant, PDQ, Starbuck’s and more.
American Plaza, Marlboro/Old Bridge, NJ - The long-awaited renovation and expansion of this landmark property is finally a reality. Complementing the existing 147,494 sq. ft. Costco, the initial phase of this project will feature the renovation and expansion of the multi-tenant 24,156 sq. ft. retail building. This building will add to the success of the project, joining the existing Investors Savings Bank, IHOP and, of course, Costco. This new retail building is strategically positioned immediately in front of Costco’s main entrance and will be demised into at least 6 spaces with leasing opportunities currently being entertained. In addition to the expansion and renovation of the second phase building, the project will feature a third phase, which will include a junior anchor space of up to 25,000 square feet and an additional pad of 4,500 square feet that will be home to Chick Fil-A. American Plaza in the entirety of its phases boasts unparalleled access and traffic counts that feature over 72,000 cars per day. It is the best located retail project in the market conveniently located on Route 9 at the Texas Road intersection, where the region and community come together.
The Villages at Morris Plains, Morris Plains, NJ - There are few locations remaining in New Jersey where you can be in IMMEDIATE proximity to major corporations while at the same time be in such close proximity to mass transit, downtown and virtually every amenity that a resident could imagine. This new and exciting project defines “Live, Dine, Play” in its finest example. Featuring 434 residential units, a 170 room major hotel and over 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, the Village at Morris Plains is located directly across from Johnson & Johnson and Honeywell Corporate offices and is in walking distance to NJ Transit rail with direct service to Manhattan. Freehold Town Place, Freehold, NJ - Where Main and Main come together in Freehold you will find one of M&M’s newest and most exciting retail destinations. With just over 40,000 square feet, the boutique positioning, coupled with a “best-in-class” lineup of national retailers and restaurants will give the drawing power of this center the feeling of a project four times its size. The access is a significant part of the story with a full interchange serving both sides of Route 9, as well as Elton Adelphia Road. This center is truly in the heart of where the residential population and the Route 9 traveler meet. The residents do not have to traverse Route 9 for their immediate shopping needs and the Route 9 traveler can easily access the project from either direction.
North Brunswick Market Place, North Brunswick, NJ - Once home to the iconic Coca cola bottling facility will now fulfill its second life as a well-positioned retail destination featuring an impressive lineup of convenience/gas, quick serve restaurant and health/wellness.
